I’m Robert Mallory, currently holding the position of Marketing Director (ROYD), Global Marketing Manager (SMART Global) and Marketing Consultant (RM Strategic).

Following on from a degree in Advertising and Marketing I’m 10 years into a career in the marketing field spanning both the defence and more recently the construction industry.

I’ve worked both agency and client-side having extensive experience with both B2C and B2B marketing using a large variety of traditional and digital marketing channels.

My most recent and notable achievements are working for ROYD and their portfolio of construction brands. My activities to date include:

Marketing

Starting as a sole marketer amongst 10 other employees, setting up social media, digital and influencer marketing channels.

Management

Hired, managed, and mentored an effective eight-person marketing department over a five year period.

Growth

Oversaw the marketing strategy, budget and team during a period of revenue increasing by 300% and number of employees by 309%.

Expansion

Lead the team reaching over 127 million tradespeople, with 45 million engagements and 33 million video views over a six year period.

Strategy

Created and implemented the strategies to develop three nationally recognised and renowned UK construction brands.

Budget

Delivered industry-leading marketing whilst maintaining a budget around 3% of annual turnover.
